Hundreds of Eleuthera residents are flashing bright healthy smiles thanks to world famous singer, songwriter Lenny Kravitz and the GLO Good Foundation who partnered once again to put on a free dental clinic in Gregory Town, Eleuthera. The Cancer Society of Eleuthera’s – Walk For A Cure, which had as its theme, “Honoring the Taken, Supporting the Survivors“, took place on the morning of Saturday, October 29th, 2016.  Fifty five registered walkers and runners, and sixteen volunteers took part in the event, which is one of the Society’s annual fundraisers. Sweeting’s Pond

This is a landlocked, saltwater pond, not a beach, but it is an interesting place to visit. Local legend has it that a giant octopus inhabits this Sweeting’s Pond. Boiling Hole

The Boiling Hole is a bowl cut into the cliff, topped by an impressive natural rock bridge formation. During the changes in tides, this hole does indeed, appear to boil.  Located between the Glass Window Bridge and the road to Whale Point it is not hard to find – if you know where to look.
